Stairs lead down from the back of the house to the Pennsylvania flagstone patio, which is nestled into a stone-covered foundation accented with thin-trunked trees. To the right, a built-in grill done in stone is the hero of the outdoor kitchen. Diners may choose to sit around the custom-built stone fire pit, which will keep revelers warm long after dark.
Fire Pit
The fire pit is perfectly placed in a sunken area just below the main patio level, with a seating wall surrounding the outside in a half circle. Large, irregular-shaped flat boulders make up paths to the outdoor kitchen, the pergola, and the landscaping beyond.
