A seating bench wall surrounds the other side of the outdoor kitchen. Guests can choose to dine at the table-and-chairs set to the left of the kitchen, take their meals up to the deck, or enjoy them in the gorgeous screened arbor. The cedar deck with large screened arbor provides plenty of comfortable space for lounging, enjoying conversations, and taking breaks from the pool.
Real Wood Deck
Cedar is one of the best options for homeowners who want a real wood deck that lasts—it resists rotting, twisting, and splitting. French doors from the home open to the deck beneath a small pergola. This stunning deck offers clear views of the extensive landscaping beyond. White railing leads down two sets of steps to the yard. A grand cedar arbor sits to the left. With a shingled, hexagonal roof and screened windows, it creates an impressive scene before you even enter! In white and natural cedar, it echoes the deck design while adding a completely new dimension to the outdoor space. The interior features a striking high cedar ceiling, fitted with a central ceiling fan to keep things cool. Soft white curtains allow guests to let in as much or as little sun as they wish.
Pool with an Elegant Waterfall Spa
The Tennessee grey flagstone pool deck surrounds a 20’ x 40’ pool that features an automatic cover for safety and protection from debris. The pool is home to an elegant waterfall spa, installed in the center of an elevated stone platform topped with irregular flagstone. Above this sits an imposing covered white triad pergola, where swimmers can relax between dips in the pool.
Screened Porch or Covered Pergola
Guests can enjoy the pool (surrounded by Tennessee flagstone) or relax on the screened porch or beneath the covered pergola. Grass and sturdy plantings create welcoming green space inside and surrounding the deck and pool space at this Herndon home.
